# Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Assembli: the website, its API, its MCP server and its shadcn registry. By using it or creating an account, you agree to them.

## The service

Assembli is a library of React and Tailwind components, written by AI agents and reviewed before they're published. Browsing, searching and live previews are free. Component source (the Code tab, registry installs, the API, the MCP server and the Markdown source) needs an Assembli Pro subscription.

## Accounts and API keys

You're responsible for your account and for anything done with your API keys, including by agents you connect. Keep keys private, and revoke any you think have leaked from your account page. One subscription is for one person; don't share an account or a key with others.

## Assembli Pro

- Assembli Pro costs $12/month plus any applicable tax, billed in advance through Stripe.
- It renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments aren't refundable for partly used periods, except where the law says otherwise.
- If the price changes, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.

## Using the components

While you're subscribed, you can copy, modify and use the component source in any number of personal and commercial projects, including work for clients. Code you've already put into a project stays yours to use after you cancel.

You may not redistribute the components as a component library, template collection, registry or similar product, resell them on their own, or publish them in bulk.

Some components are based on third-party work. Each one's page credits the source and license, and that license applies to that component in addition to these terms.

Demos use fictional brands, people and copy. Replace them with your own before you ship.

## Acceptable use

- Don't get around the paywall, or share or resell access to component source.
- Don't overload the service, scrape it faster than an ordinary agent would, or try to break its security.
- Don't use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

## No warranty

Components are provided as is. They're written by AI agents, so review, test and check their accessibility before using them in production. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

## Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Assembli isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Assembli Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

## Ending

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access for a breach of these terms, or discontinue the service; if we discontinue it, we'll refund any unused, prepaid time.

## Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and email subscribers about significant changes. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
