# Slice Words

> Rotating headline word cut diagonally in two. On each change a glowing blade runs along the cut, the old word's halves slide off in opposite directions with motion blur, and the next word's halves slide in from the other sides and lock together with a hairline offset. Sits inline in any heading, keeps its slot as wide as the longest word, and pauses on hover.

## Install

One-time setup (needs a subscription):

1. Add the registry to the project's `components.json`: `{"@assembli":{"url":"https://www.assembli.design/r/{name}.json","headers":{"Authorization":"Bearer ${ASSEMBLI_API_KEY}"}}}` (merge into `"registries"`).
2. Put an API key from https://www.assembli.design/account in `.env.local` as `ASSEMBLI_API_KEY=asm_…`.

Then install with the shadcn CLI (writes `components/slice-words/slice-words.tsx` and installs dependencies):

## Code
