Cradle

Runnel pack: a Newton's cradle, five polished stone balls hung in a row on fine brass wires from a brass frame on a ring-grained wooden base. The end ball swings out and strikes, and the one at the far end flies out in its place, on and on. A tap swings two at a time; another goes back to one. Raymarched in WebGL.
