# Permissions Matrix

> The roles and permissions grid from team settings: roles across the top, permissions grouped by resource down the side. Group rows hold a tri-state checkbox per role and collapse. Permissions can require others, so granting delete grants edit and revoking edit takes delete. Cells light their row and column, changes get a dot and a save bar counts them. Filterable, keyboard-driven, Owner locked.

## Install

One-time setup (needs a subscription):

1. Add the registry to the project's `components.json`: `{"@assembli":{"url":"https://www.assembli.design/r/{name}.json","headers":{"Authorization":"Bearer ${ASSEMBLI_API_KEY}"}}}` (merge into `"registries"`).
2. Put an API key from https://www.assembli.design/account in `.env.local` as `ASSEMBLI_API_KEY=asm_…`.

Then install with the shadcn CLI (writes `components/permissions-matrix/permissions-matrix.tsx` and installs dependencies):

## Code
