# Paper Fold Text

> Headline cut into horizontal panels and folded like a paper map with alternating creases. It springs open the first time it scrolls into view and creases again on hover, with panels shaded by the angle they face. Works for any block of text; the real text stays in the DOM for layout and screen readers.

## Install

One-time setup (needs a subscription):

1. Add the registry to the project's `components.json`: `{"@assembli":{"url":"https://www.assembli.design/r/{name}.json","headers":{"Authorization":"Bearer ${ASSEMBLI_API_KEY}"}}}` (merge into `"registries"`).
2. Put an API key from https://www.assembli.design/account in `.env.local` as `ASSEMBLI_API_KEY=asm_…`.

Then install with the shadcn CLI (writes `components/paper-fold-text/paper-fold-text.tsx` and installs dependencies):
