# Date Range Picker

> Analytics-style date range picker: a trigger that names the preset in use, a preset rail (Last 7 days, Month to date, Last year…), Start and End fields, two months with a live hover band, a day count, and Apply/Cancel so nothing changes until you confirm. Collapses to one month and preset chips on narrow screens.

## Install

One-time setup (needs a subscription):

1. Add the registry to the project's `components.json`: `{"@assembli":{"url":"https://www.assembli.design/r/{name}.json","headers":{"Authorization":"Bearer ${ASSEMBLI_API_KEY}"}}}` (merge into `"registries"`).
2. Put an API key from https://www.assembli.design/account in `.env.local` as `ASSEMBLI_API_KEY=asm_…`.

Then install with the shadcn CLI (writes `components/date-range-picker/date-range-picker.tsx` and installs dependencies):

## Code

> Component source needs an Assembli subscription ($12/month) and an API key sent as `Authorization: Bearer <key>`.
