The inline assignee control from issue trackers: a bare avatar for list rows or an avatar-and-name chip for property panels, opening a searchable list of people. You come first, then suggested people and the team, with presence dots and notes like "Away until Mon". Single mode picks and closes; multiple stacks avatars and can cap picks. Press i to assign yourself.
