# Settings

> Account and workspace settings sections: profile, billing and usage, security and sessions, notifications, API keys, connected apps and danger zones.

- [Locale Settings](https://www.assembli.design/components/locale-settings.md): The Language & region section of settings: a language listed by its own name, a region that drives every Automatic format, a time zone, then date format, 12 or 24-hour time, first day of the week, number separators and currency. A live preview with a week strip and a sample under each row are formatted with Intl from the draft, Detect from browser fills it all, and a save bar holds changes.
- [Referral Program](https://www.assembli.design/components/referral-program.md): A "Refer & earn" settings section: three steps explain the reward, the invite link copies with a confirmation or shares by email, X or LinkedIn, and an email field turns pasted lists into chips that flag bad addresses. A milestone meter tracks subscribed friends toward reward tiers, earned credit sits in the header, and referrals list their status with a resend for pending invites.
- [Appearance Settings](https://www.assembli.design/components/appearance-settings.md): The Appearance section of a settings page. Light, Dark and System cards each show a miniature app window (System split diagonally), and every preview follows the section live: the accent tints it, density spaces its rows, sidebar side flips it, high contrast darkens it. Plus density cards, a font size slider with a live sample, reduced motion and high contrast switches, and Reset to defaults.
- [Profile Settings](https://www.assembli.design/components/profile-settings.md): A profile settings page built from Assembli fields: photo with a cropper, name and pronouns, a username checked for availability as you type, a title, a bio with a soft limit, email with its verification state and a time zone. A live card shows how you'll appear, a save bar rises when anything changes, and a new email waits for its confirmation link.
- [Connected Apps](https://www.assembli.design/components/connected-apps.md): The integrations page of app settings: a row per app with its tile, what it does and where it stands. Connected apps show who they're connected as, when they last synced and a sync switch; Manage lists granted permissions and holds Disconnect, which confirms inline. Connect shows Authorizing… while OAuth runs, lapsed access turns amber with Reconnect, and a filter and search sit on top.
- [Security Settings](https://www.assembli.design/components/security-settings.md): The Security page of an account, in three cards. Change your password inline with a strength meter. Set up an authenticator by scanning a QR code or typing the key, then entering its code. Keep SMS as a backup and view, copy, download or regenerate recovery codes. Add, rename and remove passkeys, and sign out other sessions one by one or all at once.
- [Danger Zone](https://www.assembli.design/components/danger-zone.md): The danger zone at the foot of workspace settings: outlined actions that only turn red on hover. Transfer ownership opens in place with a member picker, Archive makes the workspace read-only with a banner and flips to Unarchive, and Delete opens an alert dialog that lists what goes with counts, offers an export, and stays locked until the name is typed. It can't be dismissed mid-delete.
- [Billing Settings](https://www.assembli.design/components/billing-settings.md): The plan and billing page of an app's settings: current plan with seats and renewal, Change plan, and a Cancel that confirms inline. Usage meters hatch toward where the period is heading and estimate overage past the limit. The card on file warns as it nears expiry, the billing contact edits in place, and invoices carry status badges, downloads and Retry on a failed charge.
- [Notification Settings](https://www.assembli.design/components/notification-settings.md): The notification preferences panel: event sections down the side, in-app, email, mobile and Slack across the top, a checkbox per cell. Column headers toggle a channel (mixed when partly on), required cells lock with a reason, unavailable ones show a dash. Email cadence, quiet hours and a Pause all menu sit alongside, and changes autosave with Saving… / Saved.
- [API Keys Panel](https://www.assembli.design/components/api-keys-panel.md): An API keys settings section built from Copy Field. A Live/Test switch swaps the key set, publishable keys and the webhook URL copy in one tap, and the secret stays masked until revealed. Rolling the secret asks for confirmation inline, spins while your async roll runs, then shows the new key with a note that the old one no longer works.
