# Selects

> Selects and listboxes for choosing from a set: single and multi-select, searchable and grouped options, rich rows with icons and avatars, and styled native selects.

- [Assignee Picker](https://www.assembli.design/components/assignee-picker.md): The inline assignee control from issue trackers: a bare avatar for list rows or an avatar-and-name chip for property panels, opening a searchable list of people. You come first, then suggested people and the team, with presence dots and notes like "Away until Mon". Single mode picks and closes; multiple stacks avatars and can cap picks. Press i to assign yourself.
- [Time Zone Select](https://www.assembli.design/components/timezone-select.md): A time zone picker with cities instead of IANA ids. Each row shows its live local time, current GMT offset, a day or night glyph and the weekday when it's already tomorrow there. Your own zone is pinned on top (or preselected with "auto"), and search takes cities, countries, abbreviations like PST or IST, and offsets like +5:30. Matches every other select.
- [Country Select](https://www.assembli.design/components/country-select.md): A searchable country picker: flag, name and dial code on every row, a Suggested group on top and the picked flag in the trigger. Search by name, ISO code or dial code. Also exports PhonePrefixSelect, a compact flag and dial-code trigger for phone numbers, and PhoneInput, which attaches it to a phone field in the same shell as text-field.
- [Searchable Select](https://www.assembli.design/components/searchable-select.md): A select with a search field inside its popup, on Base UI's Combobox. Results stay grouped and bold the matching text, rows take an avatar or icon plus secondary text, and there's an empty state, a Create row for new entries and async loading with a spinner row. Arrow keys move through results from the search field, Enter picks and Escape closes.
- [Native Select](https://www.assembli.design/components/native-select.md): A styled native select for forms and phones: the platform's own picker and keyboard handling in the same shell as the other selects. Label, hint, description and error, a custom chevron, a leading icon, a greyed placeholder, optgroups, disabled options and three sizes, with no JavaScript beyond React.
- [Multi Select](https://www.assembli.design/components/multi-select.md): Pick several values from one field. Picks show as removable chips that fold into a "+N" chip when they run out of room, with a clear button in the trigger. Checkbox rows stay open while you toggle them, groups and descriptions carry over from Select, and a footer offers Select all and Clear. An optional max disables the rest once it's reached.
- [Select](https://www.assembli.design/components/select.md): The everyday select, sized to sit flush beside a text field: label, hint, description and error, a placeholder, a leading icon, labelled groups with separators, a quiet second line per option, disabled options and three sizes. The popup can open over the trigger with the picked option on the value, and typeahead, Home/End and Escape come from Base UI.
