> Building blocks for AI-first mail clients: triaged inboxes, summarized threads, drafted replies, agent approvals, permissions and audit trails, for people and agents alike.

- [Mail Chat](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-chat.md): A chat with your mailbox, built from Assembli's chat parts. Replies carry more than prose: answers cited to the emails they came from, plans to approve, tool-call logs and decision cards with drafts ready to send. Agents can speak in the thread too. a tray composer that picks who a message is for, suggestion chips, scroll pinning, and chatToMarkdown for agents.
- [Decision Queue](https://www.assembli.design/components/decision-queue.md): An AI-first inbox as a queue of decisions: each email that needs you becomes the question it asks, with answers an agent already drafted, scheduled or filed. Pick with 1–9, send with ⌘↵, steer a draft in a sentence, put it off or hand it to an agent. Done items fold above with Undo, and decisionsToMarkdown gives agents the same queue as tool calls.
- [Delegation Board](https://www.assembli.design/components/delegation-board.md): An "In motion" page for a mailbox shared with agents: work agents own, answers people owe you and what you promised, each with where it stands and what happens next. Hand anything off in one sentence and the composer picks the likely agent as you type. Nudge, take work back, stop an agent or open the thread, and export it all as Markdown for an agent.
- [Mail Context Panel](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-context.md): The quiet column beside a decision in an AI-first inbox: who it's about, what you owe each other, the thread so far with clickable sources, the message the ask comes from with the ask marked, files with what an agent read in them, an agent's evidence, the day's calendar for a meeting and the rule that put it in front of you. contextToMarkdown gives agents the same, mail fenced as untrusted.
- [Meeting Request Card](https://www.assembli.design/components/meeting-request-card.md): A meeting request an agent has already worked. The sender's ask and the current time sit on top, then the agent's proposed times in both time zones, each with a strip of your day (busy blocks, their off-hours, the slot) and the reason it was picked. Choose one and the reply writes itself; Send accepts the slot and replies in one step. Decline, ask for other times, undo.
- [Agent Permissions](https://www.assembli.design/components/agent-permissions.md): Decide what each mail agent may do: a matrix of capabilities by agent, each Off, Ask or Auto, read back as one plain sentence per agent. Guardrails cap daily sends, hold mail in quiet hours, ask before new recipients and limit forwarding domains. Outside agents connect over MCP with scoped keys you can revoke, and the same policy is shown as the JSON an agent runtime enforces.
- [AI Reply Composer](https://www.assembli.design/components/reply-composer.md): A calm reply composer where an agent drafts in your voice. The draft is plain, editable text; Redraft changes what the reply does, its tone and length. A line the agent proposes waits as ghost text until you press Tab, and the sources it drew on sit one click away. Sends report who wrote how much; an agent at the controls can only request approval.
- [Mail Command Bar](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-command-bar.md): A ⌘K bar for mail that takes commands and plain sentences. "Archive newsletters older than a week" becomes a plan you see before it runs: the filters it understood, which threads match, whether it can be undone, and the exact tool call an agent would make. Enter runs it with Undo; sends ask twice. Pass a model through parse; a built-in parser covers common phrasings.
- [Mail Activity Log](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-activity-log.md): An audit trail for a mailbox shared by people and agents, both listed the same way: who archived, labeled, sent, read over MCP or was blocked, grouped by time. Filter by who and what kind, expand any entry for its reason, the permission or rule that allowed it, the exact tool call and what it touched, undo what can be undone, and export the log as JSON or Markdown.
- [Triage Inbox](https://www.assembli.design/components/triage-inbox.md): An inbox an agent has already sorted. Needs you lists replies and decisions by deadline, with a one-line note when an agent has something ready (a draft, proposed times). Everything agents did on their own folds into one quiet row you can review or undo. Hover actions, multi-select, j/k/e/h/s/u/z keys, and inboxToMarkdown hands the inbox to a model.
- [Mail Thread](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-thread.md): An email reading pane for people and agents. An agent brief tops the thread: summary, decisions, open questions and action items, each citing its source. Click a citation to jump to the exact sentence. Older messages fold to one line, attachments show a fact read from the file, and the Agent view shows the Markdown a model receives, bodies fenced as untrusted.
- [Agent Approval Queue](https://www.assembli.design/components/agent-approval-queue.md): Where mail agents ask before they act: a reply to send, an invoice to forward, lists to unsubscribe from, a meeting to move. Each card shows the agent, an editable preview, its reason, the rule that asked you, the risk in plain words and the exact tool call. Approve, edit or reject from the keyboard; rejections tell the agent why, and approvals wait out an undo window.
- [Mail Navigation](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-nav.md): The left column of a mail client agents work in too: account, compose and search, folders with quiet counts, smart views written as sentences (hover shows the query an agent would run, + compiles a new one as you type), each agent with a dot when it needs you and a pause control, and an Agent view row. Folds into an icon rail with ⌘B.
- [Mail Rule Builder](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-rule-builder.md): Write a mail rule as a sentence and get it compiled into editable parts: when, if, then, ask first, and the agent that runs it. Every condition and step is a token you can change or remove. A dry run over recent mail shows what it would have matched, with the matching phrase highlighted and which emails it would ask about, and the agent view shows the same rule as a create_rule call.
- [Message Inspector](https://www.assembli.design/components/message-inspector.md): Inspect a suspicious email three ways. Message shows it as a person sees it, with the quarantine banner and hidden text revealed. Agent view shows the exact Markdown an agent gets: body fenced as untrusted, injected instructions flagged and not followed. Signals lists the evidence: SPF, DKIM and DMARC, a lookalike domain diff, Reply-To mismatch and links that lie.
- [Mail Brief](https://www.assembli.design/components/mail-brief.md): A daily mail brief for an AI-first inbox, built from library parts. What needs you, ranked by consequence with one next step each; what every agent handled overnight, expandable with Undo; promises you made and replies you're waiting on; and newsletters condensed to a line. Every link reports a MailAction, and briefToMarkdown hands agents the same brief.
