Gyre

Spinning tops in spun brass and chrome with turned walnut, on a pale table in late window light that falls through a blind in long bars. The spin is real: each top sleeps, precesses, wobbles wider, topples and rolls round faster and faster like Euler's disk before it stops, and is spun again. Motion blur follows a shutter speed, so spokes veil as they spin and sharpen as they slow. Drag across one to spin it.
